Cross stitched skirt

I've recently started cross stitch of a nighttime while watching TV. I'd finished a few pieces (more on this in future posts) but had nothing to do with the completed pieces. After some research, and a  trip to Spotlight, I bought some DMC Soluble Canvas.

I bought a pattern from the lovely etsy seller andwabisabi with the view to stitching it on a skirt that I had previously made.

Here is the result!





I'm extremely pleased with the result - I had no idea it would turn out as well as it did. What do you think?

    What a great idea. I have a few old skirts that I'm not so inspired by anymore, and this is a perfect way to update them!
